Perfect price Review by Missgorefan

Product Rating:

I wanted a couple of smaller carboys for my smaller batches of mead, I searched all over both internet and local suppliers, what they wanted for a very similar product was kinda ridiculous. Then I found Midwest... problem solved.
These do the trick and are so affordable, I ended up buying 4 and will buy more as needed. Midwest is the only place I go to buy my mead and wine making supplies... Great prices, point system is nice, the customer service is reliable, friendly and they respond quickly. highly recommend.

Product Rating:

I make small batches of wine and the jugs are the right size for aging. I degass and seal them up for a year or however long it takes.

I have a few of these jugs and use them for small batches of wine or Mead.
I have a jug brush so they are easy to clean. and great for aging because no air can get in.

Product Rating:

These work great, seal very nicely. But I have found that they crack easily, one has a crack and I don't even know how it got there.

Product Rating:

I use the 1 gallon jugs for aging small batches of fruit wines I experiment with. For small batches glass is better than plastic because the risk of breaking is less, and the weight is less of an issue, and glass is much easier to clean.

Can't have enough Review by Dan

Product Rating:

I mainly use the 1 gallon jugs for fruit wine creations, but they also are very handy for when you're thinking of brewing up a batch of beer that is a bit off the beaten path.

Nice little add-on to an order Review by Soonami

Product Rating:

These are better than some wine or juice gallons you buy because sometimes the necks of those bottles don't really want to take a stopper, but these hold one easily even when wet.

However, they are pricey when you consider some gallons of jug wine are less the $10 on sale and Trader Joe's or Whole Foods often have these jugs on sale for even cheaper.

I use these for small experiments for both beer and wine making. Glass is good because it wont scratch, and I use the Poly Seal caps to seal them shut.
