10 Gal Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Brew Kettle

Product Number: U42101

Availability: In stock

These bad boys are seriously heavy duty and simply some of the best brew pots that we've seen. The 5 mm thick bottom prevents scorching and features 3-ply construction that includes 1 layer of aluminum - for superior heat dispersion - sandwiched between 2 layers of stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. Talk about heavy duty!

The kettle walls are even 1.2 mm thick, and the handles are spot welded AND riveted to stand up to heavy duty use. HEAVY DUTY!!!!

You can select a full-on turnkey Brew Kettle that comes pre drilled with 2 holes, and includes a kettle bulkhead with stainless steel ½” ball valve and a stainless steel dial thermometer. You’ll be able to check your temps at a glance, and transferring your wort will be as easy as turning a valve. Everything you need to brew like a pro - right out of the box!

You can also choose a kettle with a single hole that also includes the bulkhead and stainless ball valve, but no thermometer. Or you can purchase the kettle as is, with no additional hardware or pre drilled holes. (We highly recommend at least the single hole and ball valve combo on any kettles larger than 8 gallons. Do you really want to try to lift and dump a 15 gallon kettle?)

These Heavy Duty Kettles will deliver a lifetime of high performance brewing so get one today, and experience the difference.

Heavy duty Review by OHara

Product Rating:

Its a nice heavy pot. Its not going to dent easily, and is much more substantial than my old cheapo 5 gallon pot.

Big pot Review by Bolars

Easily holds a 5 gallon brew without risk of a boil over. Good quality pot, it doesn't easily flex or bend.

Product Rating:

Its very solid and durable and is going to last. Its got a nice clad bottom for better heat distribution. I added a ball valve so I don't have to use a siphon to get my beer out.

Solid Pot Review by Dan

Product Rating:

Great for stove top extract brewing with no risk of a boil over. I can add in water after the hot break and do a full volume boil.

Product Rating:

I use it for 5 gallon batches and love it. It's thick and solid and dent easily. It can handle a full volume boil with no risk of a boil over. I don't need a thermometer or sight gauge. After I shill it with my immersion chiller I siphon it to a better bottle. Then its easy to clean and ready for the next brew.

Good Value (as a bonus great service) Review by Dan

(Posted on 9/16/13)

Product Rating:

Ordered this with two pre-drilled holes. Excellent value for a durable pot. I stepped up to 10 gallon batches and use this as my HLT. Also, I will use this on bottling day as my filling bucket. BONUS: When I initially received the pot, I was unaware until I used it that there was a very small slice/hole on the back side - possibly from shipping. I was able to get away with putting a piece of duct tape over the hole when I was brewing. Called Midwest and they were able to replace very quickly.

Good durable pot Review by Andrew

Product Rating:

Its a good brew pot for 5 gallon batches. Its durable and went get dented easily. It will hold a full volume boil with no risk of a boil over. It doesn't waste money on un-needed bells and whistles. I do no-chill cooling so as soon as its done I put a lid on it and cover it. The next day it's ready to pitch. I suspect the extra width causes more evaporation, since there is more surface area.

Product Rating:

Well made of heavy duty stainless steel. Heats well, cleans well, good for 5 gallon brews. I've been using it for 2 years and still like it.

Quality kettle Review by Goose

(Posted on 5/8/13)

Product Rating:

This is a quality kettle that will stand up to the serious heat of a torch style flame burner. Cleans up like new. 5 gallon batches are a little less worrisome with the 10 gallon capacity.

This is a nice brew pot! Review by David

Product Rating:

I'm really happy to have this. I can easily brew 5 gallon batches, and I can even brew 7.5 gallons if I use Fermcap. This is a nice solid pot, it's not a thin economy model.
