Mistakenly order the 18" stirring paddle. Thought I was ordering the 28" long one. Don't know what I will do with the short one. Figured it would be a hassle to return it and get the one I wanted. The mistake is not their fault. Old timers' mistake.I had the long one and let a friend use it. Now it is his. Ha.

Good utensil for a beginner homebrewer. I got this with my starter kit and still use. Eventually I'll upgrade to stainless but for now it works great for what I use it for.

This works great if you're working with a space constraint on a stove. I'm able to stir a 5 gallon batch and still be under the vent hood. The plastic is easy to clean and sanitize and it will not scratch up your kettle! _x000D_

Will work fine for stirring extracts in but don't expect to use this as a mash paddle because it is too flimsy for the job. It really yields under the weight of a typical all-grain mash. I still use it for stirring all grain but can't wait to get something more substantial.
