semi complicated Review by John

Product Rating:

I have an older ratcheting press that is easy compared to this. Your tech reps could not tell me how to lubricate it nor do you carry the appropriate "food grade neutral silicone"

*Editor's Note: This product should not require any lubricants.

Tricky at first Review by Daniel

Product Rating:

I was a little confused at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was quite simple. I recommend bolting it down if you intend on going He-Man on it. comes apart easy, and cleans well with the hose.

Product Rating:

This press is well made, and crushes grapes and other soft fruits well. Do NOT expect to crush harder fruits like apples and pears - get a juicer for those.

Hard at first but good press Review by Alex

Product Rating:

This press was a little hard to get started at first. But once you get the pins warn down a bit, it becomes a lot easier. I also recommend finding a place to bolt it down. However, its a good press and perfect for small to medium batches.

Best press I've used Review by Ed

(Posted on 3/8/13)

Product Rating:

I had the pleasure of using this and it was awesome. Its night and day better than any press I've used previously. I was shown how to use it and had no problems, but I can see how it can take some experimenting to figure out the correct method. Bolting it to the ground is a huge help.

One of the best long term purchases I've made, what a time saver. I expect to get 30 years of use out of this. It takes a little while to master it, but then it's smooth sailing. I agree about bolting it down.

Great Press after you learn to use it Review by Chase

Product Rating:

I was shown how to use it by a fellow vintner, so I never had a problem. But I can see how it would be difficult to know how to use it properly without help. Its simple to use and a big time saver. A very pick up for the long term.

Worth it, but be prepared for the investment Review by Orson

Product Rating:

Its not a toy, it's somewhat complex, and needs to be set up and maintained. It takes a little while to figure out how to use it, but when you do, it's awesome. There is a good you tube video I saw on how to use it. Bolt it down, and it will be easier to use.
