I bought these in order to reuse some screwtop bottles. Unfortunately, they are sized to fit the screwtop bottles that Midwest, and probably other beer/wine shops, sell. Commercial screwtop bottles are just slightly larger in diameter so I broke a cap trying to get it on the first bottle I tried. I gently tried some others in case I was the problem, but it turns out that the cap size was indeed the issue.

I bought these to use with my tap-a-draft system and they work great! The caps that come with the system are known to leak but these keep my tap-a-draft bottles air tight for months.
