32 oz. EZ Cap Beer Bottle-AMBER- 1 Bottle

They work great and save time bottling, but are large and take up a fair amount of room. All in all, I like them and will probably use more in the future.

I bought this and it shattered a couple of days after bottling. Have never had a problem with "bottle bombs" or anything with any other batch or bottle.

I normally brew beer and bottle with normal beer bottles. I wanted to start making one gallon batches of 1 gallon wines. To me, these work absolutely perfect for my wines. (But of course they would well with beer) :-) If you are trying to decide on which size to get (the 12oz. , 16oz. , or the 32oz. which is this one) trust me and go ahead and get he 32oz. worth every penny !!!

I bought three of these bottles and I found them to be very fragile. Bottled two batches of beer in them and had two of them break. One cracked and leaked slowly, and the other one shattered with the slightest contact with another bottle when I was carrying them downstairs to age. Other than the breakage issues, these would be wonderful!

Bought a couple of these with my brew kit to finish up on bottling needs. Thought that they were a bit pricey but convenient to use. The jury is still out on quality as it is still conditioning in bottle. Hope they do not become bottle bombs as per other reviews... Cheers

I think these are very nice looking bottles. It's a convenient size for giving away samples because 16 ounces is not enough to share between 2 people, but 32 ounces is good for 2-3 people.
(just gotta hunt down my bottles after a while)

Amber glass is more effective at blocking UV light, and preventing skunking. I haven't had any problems with the bottles leaking or cracking. They seem pretty solid to me, though maybe not quite as thick as my Grolsch bottles.

It saves me time bottling with these because they are so big. They are a good size for one "serving" of beer, an they look nice. I've not had problems with leaks or bottle bombs.
Since these are glass, and bigger than a Grolsch bottle there is a real chance of a bottle bomb if you way over carbonate. So use your hydrometer and make sure your yeast are done before bottling.

I aged an ale in one of these for 2 years, and there were little to no signs of oxidation.

The caps can be tough to release with just the wire, but at least you know it's a tight seal. That's the only con I can think of, and it might be unavoidable.

Just remember to replace the gaskets every once in a while.

So far i really like these bottles! Quality is decent, some have minor flaws that haven't yet caused me trouble, but they are glass so flaws = equal a weakness... The Metal used in the latch appears to be galvanized steel. This is a down side for corrosion resistance to the sanitizers. Starsan has started to corrode mine. All in all i like them and will continue to buy them!

Bought a few of these to round out a batch of beer. Easy to fill and cap. Cannot add to the bottle bomb as other reviewers have just hope it does not happen to me. A little pricey but awful easy to use. I wont be using these for long term aging so that will not be a factor.
