It's a little difficult to get the sleeve and ice blanket together over the keg, but it works. Then again, I use pin locks, which are a little wider around than ball locks, so that could have contributed it.
I don't think the kegs stay cold as long as advertised, but you'll definitely do better than nothing, and it's certainly better than lugging a bucket and ice.

So the idea for this little thing is great, and I actually got it installed the first time I used it (with the help of 2 others) and it did keep the keg cold for hours during a warm late summer day, but.........installation is hard at best. I've tried freezing the blanket inside the coozie in the freezer and installing the whole thing onto the keg - no luck. I've tried installing the frozen blanket into the sleeve in the coozie then installing on the keg - no luck. The way that worked was jimmying the frozen blanket down into the sleeve inside the coozie once it was on the keg - and it was hard. Between the tight fit of the coozie and the way the rigid frozen blanket fits inside the sleeve in the coozie, it just doesn't work out great. Maybe some kind of tool to install it more easily would help?

I have a ball lock keg and was able to put the Ice Blanket on without much problem. It does a very good job of keeping the keg cool for almost a day, just keep it out of direct sunlight.
This is so much better than hauling around bags of ice and a tub to set everything in.

A lot more convenient than loading up bags of ice. It seems to fit ball lock kegs without too much difficulty. It kept mine cool for hours, and is worth the money. You will save that money on ice and aggravation.

I live in Phoenix, AZ and have used this several times with my ball lock kegs. Installing the cover w/ the ice blanket can be a bit tricky, but with practice (or another set of hands) it's really not that big of a deal. This is also a *much easier* way to transport and cool your beer vs. the clunky bucket, ice bags, and watery mess.
Regarding cooling.... I've found that once outside temps get above 85 the cooling ability decreases quickly. ~4 hours in the shade @ 90+ degree outdoor temps is about the limit for the ice blanket to keep beer COLD beyond that expect your beer to simply be COOL but still drinkable for ~2 hours. Beyond that I'm at a loss as I've never had a keg last longer than that!
