Amber Malt (Crisp)

Amber offers a toasty flavor, with some slightly bitter toffee notes. It helps to balance out the flavor of crystal malt, although it is pretty intense. I recommend 5% max in your grain bill because of the intense flavor.

Amber has no enzymes, so mash if you need the sugar, or steep if you only want color and flavor. The datasheet from Crisp says 60 EBC.

Tend to make a lot of IPAS that resemble, in some way or another, DFH 60 min clones. Amber malt adds a toasted taste I really don't get with anything else combined with the hops I use. Delivered fast and the crush was decent, compared to my local store.
