Belgian Witbier ALL-GRAIN Kit

An ex-professional brewer friend said it was the best homebrew he's ever had! I'm not sure about that, but it WAS good. I used Wyeast 3844 which along with the orange peel and coriander gave it a mild spiciness. I think it could have used a bit more coriander. I served it with a slice of orange that was perfect. I will be brewing this one again for sure.

I brewed this kit with a smack pack for my wife after the delivery of our first baby girl. It was very good. The taste was very mild and not spicy at all. In fact, my one complaint is that it is missing the level of spice that I am used to with this style. This beer came out tasting a little more like an American style wit due to the lighter spice. I entered this beer into the state fair and came away with second place. The judges commented that it was a bit too lightly spiced. I am planning on making this kit again this summer and will probably add some extra orange peel and coriander.

This was a great, easy drinking white beer. I prefer a little more spice to mine but with a little bit lighter spice this beer has a very broad appeal.

My first five gallon batch. My wife and I are big fans of Belgian wit beer and this kit doesn't disappoint. The brew is smooth and has a great finish enhanced by the coriander and orange peel.

I am normally a lager drinker but bought this kit to try something different. Once the first bottle was opened it wasnt long before the last bottle was opened.

This batch came out wonderful. They yeast gave great flavor. Taste the wheat in each sip. It's aging nicely. It's a good Belgian beer for beginners, it was my first AG Belgian. It's lightly spiced compared to others in the style but I like it that way.

Easily mashed in my 5 gallon Mash Tun. Would brew again.
