Great Review by AmmoHouse

This was one of the first batches I brewed. I wasn't real sure what I was doing. This brew turned out great! I was impatient and drank most of them early and they were good. I had a couple that I let sit for a couple of months...they were even better. Clarity was good, but I did use a secondary...glad I did. I like the looks of a good clear brew. Color wasn't too dark. Taste was great, not too much hop at the end. I'll be brewing this again for sure!

Not as flavorful as I would have liked Review by Beer

I kept this one in Primary for 10 days and secondary for about 3 weeks, and kegged and cold conditioned for about a week as it was carbonating. Not alot of flavor to it. Although nearing the end of the keg, it is getting better, but not as great as other beer kits.

One of my favorites! Review by KS Landing Zone

I brew this recipe on a regular basis and enjoy the malty hoppy flavor. I use a primary fermenter for 5-7 days, 2 weeks in the carboy before bottling and storing for 3-4 weeks. Delicious!

Could have been better Review by Brewhouse

The beer is decent. I brewing according to instructions and came out with a middle of the road brew. It has decent flavor, both hoppy and malty and refreshing. It came out slightly hazy, and I use a wort chiller so Im not sure exactly why that happened. 10 days in primary, and 2 weeks in secondary, 2 weeks in bottles, and it was ready. Overall a good beer for the price.

This was average in my opinion. Primary for a week, secondary 2 weeks, bottles 2 weeks, and it was ready to go. Nothing great, but it was not bad. The beer is both malty and hoppy, and is refreshing.

shows great promise Review by jr

Had to try one after 1 week in the bottle. Shows great promise. Brewed it 1 week in primary, 1 week in secondary. Did dry hop with an extra oz of Fuggle hops 'cause I wanted extra hop aroma and flavor.

Not too great Review by Ryan

This was way to malty for a Pale Ale. I mean, it wasn't terrible beer, just didn't seem like a pale ale to me.

Very enjoyable and easy to brew Review by DoubleD

Product Rating:

This was our first attempt at homebrewing, so we chose a style that would be very accessible to everyone and set our expectations to "drinkable." We were very pleased with the brew, and found it much more than just drinkable, but actually quite good. It was a solid English pale ale, not as bitter as I had hoped, but a great session beer. Very easy to make as well.

Appeals to a broad spectrum of beer fans Review by Nibby

I brewed this beer in the hopes that it would be a quick, easy brew I didn't have to think too much about (got a bit lazy I guess). I wasn't really surprised that it turned out great, but I didn't expect so many of my friends to like it. I had a small party at my place and had about 3 gallons left in my keg. Everybody that was there liked it so much my keg went dry about two hours into the party! People ranging from stout fans to Coor's Light fans drank it and went back for more! For sure going to brew more of it and keep it on hand for gatherings in the future. Personally, I'd like a bit more hops, but it's a very good beer when you want to drink more than a few! : )

Great place to start. Review by Jolt

This was my first attempt at home brewing in about 15 years. Kits have come a long way in that time. I fought the urge to tweak the recipe since this was my first go. Thought I better try it as designed. Instructions were easy to follow. 1 week primary ,about 10 days secondary, and into a keg. Kegging is the way to go in my book, much easier than bottling. Good flavor: nice malt flavor, with a good hops finish, not overpowering, but you know the hops are there. Would definitely try this one again sometime. Not sure when, because there are so many that I want to try!
