This is a high temperature heavy duty valve, that can easily be taken apart, cleaned and and put back together. There is also a nice safety lock latch on top of handle. It looks as clean as it did 2 years ago.

Works really well, especially in applications where clean & sanitary are crucial. Plus it is made from high quality parts that seriously resist heat and corrosion. I own the 1/2" size of the same design. All the materials in this product are exactly the same. I use the 1/2" valve on my kettle outlet port, so it see's heavy duty hi temp use every brew session. It continues to work flawlessly and still looks like new after 3 years. Comes apart for cleaning and sanitizing super easily.
