I love the fact that I can purchase a blend of toast levels in order to create a wider flavor profile without having to purchase multiple packages of oak. I really like this blend. Depending on how much oak you want in your wine this may be a single-use protion. I believe that the package said that the oak would be depleted after about six weeks worth of use.

This is a nicer flavor than the American oak. The oak flavor comes through with a nice subtle vanilla flavor. Be aware of how strong an oak flavor you want, and don't just leave the cubes in for half a year.

I am very pleased with how this tasted in my wine. It has a nice subtle flavor with hints of vanilla. The cubes are easy to measure out so I can add or reduce the amount of oaking.
