Makes bottling easier with the spigot. Don't forget to sanitize well prior to bottling and to take the spigot apart to clean. All in all, works well.

Pretty much, "what you see, is what you get". This bottling bucket works exactly as it looks. Hook up a bottle filler and you have the option of shutting off the source when alternating between filling and capping.

Great value, worked well, and a great price, but I had a problem with the spiggot leaking. Even tho I tightend it well. Small leak, didn't make too much of a mess, just a little bothersome.

Great bucket but my other lid doesnt fit it.

Great bucket. The spigot is low so it must be turned. It would work better if drilled higher up. Also lids for 5 gallon buckets ate not interchangeable.

The whole in the bucket is too large for the spigot and there are major problems with leakage. Fortunately I decided to test it out with water before using for my first actual batch of beer; when filled all the way the spigot actually popped out completely. If that has been my beer it would have been a whole batch literally down the drain.

I've had leakage problems with every bottling I've done so far. Like in previous reviews, it's not alot but enough to annoy you.

This is a much better way to add priming sugar to your beer than to add a small amount to each bottle. Simply boil a small amount of water along with your desired amount of priming sugar, let it cool, add it to the bottling bucket, and rack your beer into the bottling bucket. The spigot makes it easy fill your bottles, especially if you attach some hose and a bottling wand. I will warn you that I have also experienced leaking around the spigot, but it is minimal. I probably spill more beer during the bottling process than is lost due to leaking.

This is a good bucket/tap-spigot combo. I personally like the lever tap-spigot better than other styles, just remember which way is on and off! The spigot makes bottling simple, no need for tubing if you don't want, but it will produce a lot of bubbles in your bottle. Sometimes I ferment and bottle test batches just using this one bucket, adding Carb tabs to the bottles for carbonation. The sediment compacts pretty tightly below the line of the spigot if you wait long enough.

Great for bottling. I like the lever spigot style the best, just remember which way is on and off. In a pinch, or sometimes with small test batches, I have fermented in this bucket, then filled my bottles with the spigot, no tubing attached. Does make bubbles, though the sediment stays below the spigot line. Then added Carb tabs for carbonation.
