$65 (equipment kit) + $28 (ingredient kit) + $25 (voucher for future purchase) = $118. Why does it cost $7 more for me to buy them as a 'bundle.' I ot my bundle with a Groupon, for $77 + $12 shipping = $89. That was a good deal, which I recommend to anybody. I would rate the Groupon deal with 5 stars for price and 5 for value. Perhaps less shipping is charged if the 'bundle' is purchased? If that is the case, it would be nice to see that listed in the item description. But, either way, it's going to be the same weight. It would be nice if the bundle offered a higher quality ingredient kit, or a higher value voucher. Or, just knock the price down about 10-15 bucks.

I got this kit from a Groupon deal a few months back and it has worked out well for me so far. I picked the Irish Stout kit and dolled it up with some vanilla bourbon I made and it turned out great.
I do believe that the price could be a little lower, but if you are in to getting gift vouchers and cool gadgets like hydrometers, I would recommend getting this one.

I purchased this kit with a coupon for 99 dollars I am very pleased with the quality of this kit. After checking everything in this kit I noticed I was missing to small items. So I called the number provide on the invoice, I spoke to Lyndsey who was very polite and professional. I received the missing items a few days later with no hassles, the items even came with a hand written note with a sorry and thank you. Why to go Midwest very nice touch I'm a customer for life.

I actually got this using a Groupon that I came across and it got me started brewing. It has everything that you need. I really liked the DVD that came with it too. I thought it was very helpful to actually see someone doing what I was about to do. I actually ran through it over and over as I was brewing to make sure I didn't miss anything.
My order came with a red capper which actually broke the first time I used it. In hindsight I think I didn't realize how little pressure was required to cap beers and I was probably pushing down too hard. However, I just snapped a picture of the broken capper, emailed it to them and they mailed me a replacement free of charge. And I have since lighted up the pressure while capping. You only need it to crimp down - once the handle drops you can stop applying pressure. You live you learn I guess.

My wife gave me this kit as a birthday present. I ordered the Autumn Amber Ale and it was awesome. Easy to follow instructions, easy to use, reasonably priced and it makes a great tasting brew . Got it in February and I'm on my 3rd beer kit and about to order some more.
Drink up

I bought this kit with a Groupon awhile back. With the Groupon, the value and price are excellent. Apart from that, this has everything you need to get you started. Excellent quality. I am very pleased.
