I love the rich caramel flavor this DME provides in my American Pale Ales and IPA's. I recommend adding a little at a time to the brew pot and stirring in order to avoid clumping.

A great dry malt extract, provides a good flavor for my Brown and Pale Ales. I wouldn't use a darker DME. Instead I'd steep specialty grains for extra color.
It can be kind of pain to work with because it sticks to anything thats moist.

I am always trying to squeeze at least a pound of this dme into almost every batch. I think it adds a great malt flavor.

I like the DME for making starters because its so convenient.
Its very easy to measure and use. Just keep water away from it.
Measure out what you need and keep the bag away from moisture. Then pour in the DME quickly before it sticks.

I like using this malt extract in Pales Ales and IPAs, and even brown ales. It's easier to work with than liquid malt extract, and adds a nice flavor. I also use it for making yeast starters.
