I like tossing this in some stouts and porters. Also provides a nice deep red color when combined with Special-B at about 8-10% total. Not a beer for everyone but if you like a nice thick feeling American Red Ale that's a good route to go.

This is a great color and body addition for darker beers. This works the best in stouts or porters. Makes a mean milk stout.

This gives a nice dark fruit flavor in small amounts. It is great in stouts.

Used this in brewing a triple IPA as well as a Vanilla& Oaked Bourbon Imperial Milk Stout. Crushed very well and gave the expected 120 sweetness and flavor. I wish all grains were this cheap.

A must for any brew stash.

Crystal 120 is a great malt all around. I personally enjoy it because you can get a darker beer without the coffee/burnt flavor that some dark malts add to beers like black patent or a chocolate malt. This malt offers a deep caramel flavor that goes very well in darker beers like porters. This malt adds a nice deep red color to the beer that obviously can be part of a nicely colored Irish red. You could also add a small amount to your bill to get a darker beer but don't want to put that much grain.
