This is the perfect caramel malt to any stout or lager. The flavor profile in achieves is incomparable to any I have tasted before. If it was hulled, I would probably eat it like rice! I absolutely love the aroma it gives when added in small quantities. I also recommend it when brewing fruit flavored beers. I'm not sure why, but the caramel 80L really deepens the flavor of stone fruits.

The caramel 80 gives your brew the cramel flavor in complex dark ales. I use it in a chocolate, wheat porter and can taste the carmel flavor.

Crystal 60L to me is one of your basic, if not the most basic malt that goes well in vast majority of ales. Crystal 80L to me is a malt that adds a deeper color and caramel flavor to your beer vs. the Crystal 60L. This goes really well in Nut Browns, IPAs and any other type of beer darker than those two.
