Cleans easy enough. Long handle and ability to bend the brush to what you need makes this great for carboys.

This brush does not scrub the bottom and sides of the carboy it is only good for cleaning the top below the collar. Save your money and invest in the carboy cleaner and some PBW cleaner.

Seemed to work good until the metal end of the brush hit the inside of my carboy and cracked the glass.

Worked like a charm... but I cleaned the carboy immediately after transferring the brew to the bottling bucket so that none of the crud would dry in place.

It is a must have but bristles break down and can be a bit hard to clean all around the carboy, but like I said it is a must have.

I generally just use this to get the remains of yeast off the sides after primary. It does the job and can easily get to the bottom of a 6.5 gallon carboy to clean. Yes, it can be difficult to use for the sides of a carboy, but it's great for the top and bottom.

This brush is a must in order to keep your carboys clean. I was amazed at how well it gets all the grime off the carboys. Especially when the krausen has been sitting in your carboy for several weeks.

These carboy brushes are far from perfect but for the price they work well enough. First off, I like to soak my carboy in hot water for a while. If it's real nasty I toss some PBW in there for good measure. This loosens up the yeast caked to the top from fermentation. After that it's way easier to scrub off with this brush. I have even gone so far as to bend one of mine so it gets the top a little better. Again, not perfect but if you're looking for something cheap this is it.

Great price for such a handy tool. It's not the stiffest of brushes, so sometimes presoaking is necessary.

I've been using different non-specific brushes to try and clean the inside of my carboys. This is the first one to not have a problem cleaning the bottom, sides, and the neck of a carboy with no trouble whatsoever. Some of the other reviewers criticize the soft bristles, but I think it's reasonable to soak the carboy before cleaning it if you know it's going to be highly caked on. It's to be expected.
