Product Details

The first thing we learn as brewers is that sanitation is the key to good beer, and with the Mark II keg and carboy washer you can make the dankest keg sparkle and get the most crusted carboy looking like it just came out of the box.
This Mark II Keg and Carboy Washer makes clean-up a breeze. Designed to accommodate homebrewing equipment so you don't have to do the scrubbing.

Fill the sump with your favorite cleaner, pop a carboy on top of the spray wand and plug it in: the powerful motor will blast off crusted trub, yeast, and hops. The mechanical action of the moving fluid acts like a CIP system, continuously recirculating the cleaner, removing surface films and debris--you don't have to scrub!

What's even better is the Mark II can run while you do other brewing chores--heating strike water, lautering, mashing out, whatever is next on your brew day. It's hands free, and despite it's powerful jet, it's nearly silent, and the fittings allow you to strip kegs clean, removing all traces of your last brew, making sure you're next has a good home.

Drain and refill with no-rinse sanitizer and it's an instant sanitation station: no more pouring with funnels, shaking carboys, and dumping in sinks. The savings to your lower back alone make the Mark II the best homebrew purchase you'll make all year.

Mark II keg and carboy washer

This makes clean up pretty painless if you jump right on it. Be realistic, it's not gonna scrape year old dried on crud off your dirty containers but it's pretty darn good at what it does if you do your part in a timely manner. It will save you work and time to do other things while it's cleaning.

Gets things clean

This thing does a good job of cleaning. Fill it, add chemicals, put on dirty carboy or keg and wait. A couple places for improvement. If you use buckets and sometimes with kegs it splashes water everywhere so do not put near anything you do not want wet. If you have multiple things to clean the pump has no on/off switch so you have to use your wet hands to plug/unplug the pump to a wall outlet. I recommend this to anyone who brews or makes wine and finds cleaning a hassle.

Works well. A bit splashy

This is a great way to clean carboys and kegs. I cleaned my 7 gal. boil kettle, too.

Fill the reservoir to the top. Sprinkle in one tablespoon of PBW. Ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom. It cleans in 15-20 minutes. Easy peasy.

Only problem is that you have to be near the washer, since it splashes over the sides a bit.

Nice unit.

Mark 2 keg washer

Does a good job cleaning kegs and carboys. I cracked the female trended end when installing the spout. Be care not to over tighten. You have to buy line, tees, hardware and ball lock ends separately to clean the keg gas in and beer out poppets. It would be nice if they were included.

Works great.

After 5 years, I broke down and wished I had of done it 5 years ago.
