The color of a stout paired with the clean crispness of a Pilsner, the Scwharzbier (black beer) will conquer the light beer drinkers fear of dark beers. Low body, medium mouthfeel, light hop aroma and due to the addition of Sinamar coloring extract, the deep black color is achieved without any roastiness or sharpness associated with high amounts of dark malts.
Ingredients: 9 lbs. Domestic Pilsner malt, 6 oz. Carafa II, 4 oz. Cara Amber , 4 oz. Melanoidin, 2 oz. Roasted Barley, 1 oz. Hallertau, 1 oz. Fuggle, 4 oz. Sinamar color extract, priming sugar, and yeast.
