I have all the Classic Beer Styles Series books and this is one of the best. All the recipes from this book turned out well.
Chapter four, "Brewing with a Belgian Brewmaster." is the most important chapter, read the mashing instructions they use.
And if you are interested in a high gravity Belgian beer, you want to read this

Like other books in the series this is geared towards the advanced brewer. It gave me insight into the mystique of Belgian beers. I like the selection of recipes, especially the Saison.

This is for advanced all grain brewers, it's not for casual extract brewers. There is a lot of detailed coverage of mashing temperatures and additives. Also has a lot of good recipes.
I also recommend Brew Like a Monk,

Prior to this book my Belgian beers were just so-so. After reading it, and trying the 5 recipes, my Belgian style beers are much better. When brewing other Belgian recipes I use the mashing steps from Capter 4, page 83 "Brewing with a Belgian Brewmaster." This may be the best in the series.

For brewers interested in brewing Belgian ales, this is well written and packed with good information . It was very helpful in cloning some of my favorite Belgian ales. This book has everything you need to make great Belgian ales at home.

A lot of good advice, and how to do things a little differently from normal ales. Its got a lot of history too. The "Brewing with a Belgian Brewmaster" chapter is the best, it's all about the techniques they use, that you might not do. Good information on high gravity Belgian beer brewing.
