I hope this gets better

I've used the World Vineyard kits quite a bit. I've done about 10 batches of different types. I did nothing different with this one. This is bitter. I had hoped it would improve over time. It's now been 7 months and this is still little more than 'prison wine' quality. Hopefully, I just screwed something up. I'd love to hear someone else's results. I really like Merlots and I'm sad this turned out so poor. I'm still clinging to the hope that maybe at a year it'll be vastly better.

I made this wine a year ago, and it is one of our house favorites. Well balanced with a good flavor profile, but could use a little more body. All in all, it's one of my wife's favorites.

After 6 months the wine is not very good. Lets see how it is after a year. I didn't screw up anything, and it's not infected.

The Chilean Merlot is a very smooth, full bodied red wine. It drinks well as an evening sipper and also goes well with dinner of beef or pork. Very satisfying.
