I've heard in the past how great this book is but couldn't find it anywhere. When I found it at Midwest one day I grabbed it! This is such a great resource for anyone looking to brew German style beers. Highly recommended.

The book is out dated. The recipies were written at a time when traditional Munich and Vienna malts were not widely available. The recipes are compromises, and not authentic.. For example, the author suggests the use of Belgian and Crystal malts in place of Munich malt which is used by all Bavarian breweries.
