I used this to experiment with a batch by pulling just a little off the primary and putting in here. Works great for trying to experiment with just a small amount.

Great Party Size

I bottle my hard lemonade in these. On a hot day out camping or at a picnic, I pop one open and it's about the right size for everyone to have a glass. Small and light enough that they're easy to pack and fit in the cooler, but saves a gargantuan number of bottles.

Used this last week for my first starter and it worked great. Not to small and not too big; just perfect. And thanks to my starter, I had a vigorous fermentation, so I may need a another one of these to use for my blow off!

Is what it is a clear glass bottle. Works great if you keg your homebrew but want to take some over to a friends house. Don't forget to buy a cap.

I make yeast starters in one of these for big OG batches. It's eay enough to fit a stopper and airlock onto it. Bad part it, if you bump the stir plat and throw off the spin bar...it can be a real pain.

Easy to see layers than this...I was using amber growlers. Needed something this size that was transparent and Ball's 1/2 gallons are hard to come by without buying 6 or 12. Always nice to have a clear glass bottle around for home brewing anyway, but you can get these bottles with many things that are consumable, too. Apple cider comes to mind, but I'm sure there's more.

This jug can hold a god size yeast starter, and is way less expensive than a 2 liter flask. If you have the right caps, you can even bottle in it if you want to bring some beer to a party. Very convenient.

I bought a bunch of these to do experiments with dry-hopping. I made a 5 gallon split it into a bunch of these jugs, then added different amounts of hops of different varieties to figure out what dry-hopping I wanted in my house pale ale.
