This is a wonderful bittering hops for IPAs and any beer you want to have a citrus profile. The bitterness does have a bit more of a bit than other similar hops so you may need to give more time for your bottles to sit. I usually start trying a batch at about two weeks but wait till about four weeks when i use this hops.

Great hops. Really good to use for bittering. This goes very well when paired with cascade hops. Be warned that there is a pretty strong citrus/bitter flavor to this hops. I have used it for flavoring/finishing but find it a bit strong. Works better as a bittering hops and then pair with another citrus hops to get a well rounded flavor

I made a small experimental Single Malt, Single Hop (SMASH) beer with Columbus hops and it was really good. Not only is the bitterness good, so is the flavor. It has a piney aroma with a citrus taste as well.
