Information about Dimensional Weight.
Dimensional weight is used when packages are large in volume, but do not weigh much. For example, the shipping cost of a large box of popcorn may be based on the dimensional weight because of the amount of space it takes up on a truck. You may notice that many of our products will have similar shipping weights of 30 and 70 pounds. At first glance you may think that the weight of these products are inaccurate. But in fact dimensional weight is used to determine the shipping weights of certain products. These are the policies of FedEx.

IMPORTANT: If you order 2 dimensional weight products and they can be shipped in the same box, Midwest will refund the difference in shipping costs. Also, if smaller products can be packaged in the same box with a dimensional weight product, we will refund the difference. Midwest does not make money on shipping.
