Potassium metabisulfite for sulfiting in barrels and small tanks in an effervescent, granular form. When added to wine, it dissolves rapidly providing surface protection and self-mixing properties. The granular composition is varied, allowing the product to dissolve at multiple levels in the tank or barrel for even and convenient additions. Each packet of Efferbarrique liberates 2 grams of SO2. The pre-dosed packaging reduces the risk of incorrect addition. Efferbarrique is also a simple and accurate way to make additions to grape bins.
