we have tried dozens of kits and this is one of the best. It is not at all bitter, very smooth. Highly recommend

The taste is fine. Very mild. But, man. Who wants to drink 6 homebrews to get a bit of a buzz? We'll pass on this one and head back to a stronger ESB next time.

A very nice bitter

I got this hoping to get a similar experience to one of my favorite brews: goose island honkers ale. I was initially disappointed because this ale takes the full 2 weeks to mature in the bottle. Wait the full two weeks and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I used the propagator.

Amazing light ale, pleasantly surprised. First light ale ever brewed (was into porters, ambers, etc), but now it's summer time. Simple, very crisp and refreshing, perfectly balanced. Used Activator. No need for secondary here, 1 week in primary and 2 weeks in bottles. Don't expect high ABV, but this is what's it's supposed to be, enjoy many of these on hot summer days. Definitely one of best "pale ale" ever had. In my top 3 kits out of 12 I'd tried.

Having spent time in Britain, until now I was unable to have a pint of TRUE English Bitter. MHS hit the bull's-eye on this brew kit! True on aroma, taste and flavor. Hail Britannia

Of the 10 or so beers I have brewed this is hands down the best of the lot.
The flavors are perfectly balanced and it's extremely drinkable!
I spent 7 years in England and this is defiantly comparable to many bitters I drank over there.
A perfect English Bitter.
I used White Labs London Ale Yeast.

I hadn't sampled many bitters before this, so it was a real treat when I opened my first bottle after giving it 3 weeks to condition. This is a great beer, with good "drinkability", if I may steal that term. It's not too light, not too heavy. Exactly what I'd expect. Mine came out like a slightly milder pale ale. I usually give away about 1/2 of my batches for other people to try, and I've heard nothing but good things! Will definitely be ordering this one again some time.

Love it! This is my favorite recipe kit to date! It has a great flavor and great drinkability. I had this in the primary fermenter for a week, secondary for 3 weeks, and 2 weeks in the bottle. It was definitely worth the wait.

This is a good recipe. Very low on alcohol but has a great flavor. I dry hopped mine with 1 oz. of cascade hops. 1 week in primary, 2 weeks in secondary, 2 weeks to carb and 2 weeks to condition. Turned out great for the price. If your looking to get drunk though I would recommend getting something else. This is a flavor beer, but a drunk beer.

I was very surprised, very drinkable. This just may become the house brew.
