I used a lb. of this to steep into my Belgian Wit. WOW..this makes a beer cloudy! I had my brew in the primary for 2 weeks, secondary for 3...and it was STILL cloudy!
Wits allow for haze anyway, but man! The flavor was okay.
I used the leftover grains to mix into breads and even rice pudding...YUM!!!

The recipe I used called for 50% flaked wheat. My batch sparge was successful with no stuck sparge. I have stainless braid as a manifold. The wort had a nice boil and the OG was not to far off.
I will update as the process wraps up.

Brewed my first all-grain Saison using about 1 lb of the flaked wheat. Helped to give it great color and am anxiously awaiting to test it out. Good pricing, good product and no complaints!

Essential for any wheat beer

Flaked wheat is great for adding that much desired mouth-feel and body that many weizen possess. Flaked wheat also adds head support so that great foam from a weizen doesn't fade immediately.

This is a nice addition to certain beers. It adds a very distinct wheat flavor while at the same time adding a nice wheat orientated smoothness/body. The one downside to this is that it can add a bit of haze to your beer. I personally do not care about that but some really do. This is good in some Belgium beers, wheat beers, and other specialty beers.
