Our small French oak barrels use selected premium French oak from central France. The Staves are air-dried for 24 months before they are used to make the barrel. Hand crafted by skilled French coopers in a traditional barrel making method. Your wine will have sweet, toasted almond and caramel flavors as they are the result of air-dried oak toasted on open fire. No green-wood or aggressive oak overtones associated with small barrels made of American kiln-dried, non-toasted barrels. French Oak Barrel- 13 Gallon (50 Liter).
