German Perle Pellet Hops

This is a floral hop that's good for aroma and flavor. Slightly fruity. I've used it in pale ales that have turned out great.

Use this in several IPAs, the german gives it a little better aroma than the american. My most recent batch had really low alpha acids and wish I would have known because I would have gotten the american kind for the bittering.

I use the German Perle hop in Kolsch's and lagers. I also used it in a Sierra Nevada clone (came out ok). The American Perle hop has more bittering, the German one is better suited as an aroma or flavor hop. The aroma is not like the usual citrusy one you expect. Instead it's more like green plants (earthy).

This hop is good for aroma, but I really like it as a bittering hop.
