This is the ONLY Cream Soda Extract I will use! We compared the Gnomes Vanilla Cream Soda to 'Yuppie' Cream Sodas on the market and Gnome blew the other Sodas away! This is my favorite Gnome product. The Second choice is Draft Style Root Beer. Do try some Gnomes Vanilla Cream Extract. You won't go wrong. Yeah!

Mixed this 6 cups white sugar, 2 cups light brown sugar, 1 tbsp vanilla extract and 1 pkg Gnome extract. Topped off to 5 gallons with water. Cooled and force carbonated. Very good flavor.

Wonderful, rich flavor

Very tasty indeed. I'm taking one star away from quality because of the packaging - those pouches may make for the best freshness, but the bag-within-a-bag thing is difficult to open, and even worse to reseal, if you're not making the full amount all at once.

Even better this time

Made another batch, this time using 5 cups white sugar, 3 cups light brown sugar, 1tsp vanilla extract, 1 pkg Gnome extract and added 3/4 cup maltodextrin. The Maltodextrin gives it a little body but doesn't affect the flavor. My kids love it. I use the same recipe for the Root Beer but exclude the vanilla extract and it turns out great also. Now if Gnome would only come out with a decent cola extract I would be set.

Not for 5 gallons

I used this soda extract to produce 3 gallons of cream soda, but it turned out to be a watery tasting soda. I followed the directions to a T and it did not produce 3 gallons, let alone the 5 gallons that it describes that it makes.
I believe this package would be good for 1 gallon of soda and not more.

We made this following the instructions on their website, including the vanilla and brown sugar. It turned out very rich and tasy. The kids love it, the adults would have liked it a little less sugary. We'll probably use ~1 cup less than the full amount next time. However, at full strength, it's great as a mixer or with some ice cream!

It's a bit sweet, I'd cut back on the sugar next time.

Could be creamier...

I was hopeful for a "creamier" cream soda with a little richer flavor. Also I find the other brand is much more convenient to use as it comes in a bottle instead of a pouch that does not open or seal well. I will most likely use the other brand they sell in future purchases.
