Staple of my brew rotation

This kit produces a delicious and popular beer that my friends are now requesting I brew regularly. The light character and mild hop rate makes it palatable to the mass produced beer lovers while the subtle notes of citrus, spice, and crisp finish are appreciated by my more discerning friends. If you enjoy Blue Moon, you won't be disappointing by this kit. I always upgrade to the Wyeast strain for the most consistent results, and have found that this recipe benefits from extended conditioning in the bottle.
This style has become so popular among my friends that they have purchased their own rigs so they can supply themselves with brews this summer.
Cheers Midwest for putting together another crowd pleaser.

I brewed this beer thinking it would be more spicy than it turned out. I don't like the real spicy and fruity beers, but I thought I needed to stretch the palate. I was wonderfully surprised when I opened the first bottle after conditioning. The Honey used in augmenting the wort produced a nice light dry Wit and this beer is easy drinking for all. If I remember right my ABV was around 5.4% in the end.
Currently I have a batch that is bottle conditioned for 3 weeks, and I will continue to open one once a week until I find the sweet spot.
This beer will be a staple for the hot summer months,

This was my first all grain batch and used this kit as the beer was requested to brew again. I brewed the Grand Cru Extract kit back in March and it did not turn out where it was suppose to. The honey did not ferment all the way out and it was very sweet. So I was very leery to attempt this kit again although all grain this time.
I hit all of my marks! Used the dry yeast in temp controlled fridge cold crashed and kegged. I'm sure it will be a crowd pleaser!

First all-grain brew for me

I have brewed this is both extract & whole grain now. In fact this was my first whole grain attempt. My mash temp at 150F was lower then I wanted, and I ended up with a much higher attenuation and higher alcohol then when I used to to the extract version, but it still came out great! I always use the liquid yeast option.

Blue Moon "Honey Moon" Summer Ale

I brewed this all grain Grand Cru kit in an attempt to replicate Blue Moon's special "Honey Moon" summer beer. With an orange slice added to my freshly brewed and kegged Grand Cru beer my wife (who loves the Blue Moon seasonal beer) raved about how much better and smoother my version was. This is one of my regular kits I will do every summer!

This beer is great even though it has a slightly misleading name. I brewed this up recently and it tasted great from the hydrometer sample.
