This beer gets dramatically better with age. Brewed with dry yeast and tasted ok after the traditional aging. Through continual tasting improved in quality up to 2 months (when the last bottle was finished). A great summer beer, citrusy with a slight taste of coriander, better than blue moon and great with an orange slice!!!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this beer, due to a move we had to drink it all a month or so after it was bottled. Typically these kinds of beers get better after a long bottle conditioning but this came out great after a month.

I've been brewing for almost three years now and this is the best beer I've ever made. Way better than Midwests Witbier kit (I can't recommend it).

This is my favorite of the Belgians that we've made so far. A truly excellent balance of tastes.

Everyone was surprised at how good this beer was. Even one of my brew partners wives who said "how can beer brewed in a garage be any good". She has requested that we brew it again and we will.

This was my first attempt at brewing my own beer. Turned out GREAT. Definitely gets better with age. After a month in the bottle, opener up and enjoy!

I was stationed in Germany while in the Air Force. Thought the German beers were the best until I got to Belgium and tasted their beers. I have brewed most of Midwest's Belgiums, some several times over. The Grand Cru Is without doubt my favorite! Great taste and just gets better with age up to about two or three months. Will definitely brew more!

Not sure which is my favorite yet, this or the Lawnmower de Saison. Both are amazing beers. I am going to have to make my way down the list and make all the Belgian beers! Easy drinking, with great taste. The liquid yeast makes this beer. Highly recommended.

I used Wyeast Activator, 10 days in the Primary and 5 weeks in the secondary. It was still fermenting strong after 3 weeks in the secondary and calmed down by the fourth week. I've never seen a beer ferment like that. I cracked open a test bottle last night after the 4th week in the bottle. Hands down this is the best Belgian Ale I've made from Midwest. The Belgian Wit was OK but hardly different from Midwest's Wheat beer. But, the Grand Cru is spot on. Know that I know it is good, I'll let sit for another month before I start drinking. The alcohol content is high on this one, so it is not one I recommend while mowing.
