work well with weiss or witbier Review by Brett

Product Rating:

The description says they are mildly aromatic, but I would call them a medium on the aromatic scale. They have the aroma/flavor of a woody herb, and a little peppery, which I think works well to complement the flavors that the yeast produces in beers with wheat. The flavor isn't too strong. So it doesn't overpower other flavors, but if you're a hophead you probably won't like Hallertau. I've used these hops several times and the quality has always been pretty good.

Mild and pleasant aroma.
Good choice for a Bavarian style Lager or Pilsner.
