Works great. I'm actually a spoon guy and not a paddle so i went this this one. It is easy to clean as mentioned. Gets the job done!
Also, I make one gallon batches of wine in 1 gallon carboys, you could use the opposite end of the spoon to degas your wines in the smaller carboys if needed too. So this is actually my wine / beer spoon!

I was really surprised with the strength of this plastic spoon. It is just big enough to work on everything from my brew pot to the fermenting bucket!

Long enough that if it slips out of your hand and falls into the primary, you can fish it out without touching the wort. Strong enough to aerate your wort with too. Glad I got this item

I use this for my 1 gallon batches. The plastic can get scratched over time but for the price you cannot beat it.

This brew spoon is great, cheap and easy to use and clean. It is also easy to put notches in it to measure out water in your brew pot!

This melted mid brew

So I learned a valuable lesson with this the first time I brewed. I left this untended in my kettle over high heat, and the bottom melted. I switched to a metal stirring spoon after that. If you are using a kettle with a capsule bottom, you should be fine. Otherwise, make sure you don't let this sit touching the bottom of the kettle.

Its a good size for stirring my 5 gallon pot on the stove I use for making extract beer. Easy to hold, a good length, strong enough so it doesn't bend, its all I need.
