The Fermtech Plastic Bottle Filler is an economical bottle filler that uses gravity to shut off the liquid flow. Fermetech Plastic bottle filler Review by David

Product Rating:

This is what given to you with the starter kits. I have bottle 5 beers with this and got to say I would not have gone with this. I would have gone with the spring bottle filler. I just done a beer and two wines with the spring and love it much more.

Works ok enough Review by Jonathan

Product Rating:

Works well enough to get the job done, but sometimes the plastic piece on the bottom will stick and the filling will not stop right away. I had a couple overfills because of this. Other than that, it gets the job done, but I will probably get a different one if I have problems with the next batch.

Messy Review by Mark

Product Rating:

It could be me, but setting this down to grab the next batch of bottles to fill would spill beer if the end touched anything. Since the filler is attached to a hose and it has to rest somewhere, I had problems. It came with the kit, but I won't use it again.

I'm ordering the spring loaded one before I brew again.

It Works but spend the extra $.25 Review by Hutch

Product Rating:

I got one with the beginners kit. Worked great the first time (made the Irish Red). My second beer (which was the ferocious), I didn't filter between dry hopping and bottling (yep, I've learned from that). Anyhow this one, like others have mentioned, the tip doesn't always seal and forces you to rush another bottle under the filler.

If you don't have a filler, get one. I just bought the spring loaded filler this week.

Works great, good value Review by peterjim

Product Rating:

I got this with the starter kit and was skeptical about how well it would work because the tip wasn't spring loaded. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked perfectly. Once I got the hang of it and avoided bumping the tip on the sides or rim of the bottles it worked perfectly with minimal drips. Much more efficient than trying to use a clamp on the hose.

It works as advertised Review by bdcue

It's simple, and simply works. Have used it twice and been very satisfied both times. Fills easily, and every bottle is correctly filled. What more can you ask for?

Not that good Review by Javier

Product Rating:

The tip is very low quality, as opposed to the tube. But then again, I haven't been brewing for as long as many.

You Get What You Pay For Review by das Hovlander Bräuhaus

Product Rating:

The price very good and it works as it's designed to but our wand began to check along the length of the plastic tube and now leaks lije a sive from each crack after about a year of use. If your a serious bottler it might be best to buy a few at a time. Perhaps a company will come out with a food-grade stainless one?
