Brewing Starter Kit

I have to say I was incredibly happy to receive this kit today from FedEx. It came with all of the items listed and nothing was damaged. The video on DVD was very helpful with showing you how to brew. I was able to pick up some of the nuances while watching a video rather than reading a book or forum.

This is such a wonderful kit. I recommend it anyone seriously thinking about starting to Home Brew. It is worth having the carboy even if you don't plan on doing a secondary fermentation. At least I will have one if I need it now.

The auto-siphon is cool, too. I can see why this thing can really save a bit of pain in the rear. The cleaner is really good. I ordered some Star Stan on the side with mine and it worked excellent, too.

I am really happy with my purchase and really satisfied with my selecting Midwest Supplies. Midwest has possibly the best value and prices on the Internet for Home Brew supplies (when I was doing some comparison shopping).

This is everything I thought it would be!!! I got started on homebrewing within 2 days of receiving my kit and whenever I had any questions I called Midwest and they walked me through them. The quality is very good. Some times with kits like this you get cheap, easily breakable junk. I would recomend this kit to anyone.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Me and my wife have brewed the autumn amber ale and irish stout so far. We had a blast making them with the kit. The overall quality was great and the service has been outstanding from Midwest.

Midwest is very good with answering your questions if you have any and the shipping is very fast too.

Do yourself a favor and either purchase or make a wort chiller!! The biggest pain and an easy way to contaminate the batch in my opinion is trying to cool the wort down in a decent time. Having the wort chiller eliminates A LOT of the problems and makes cooling a breeze.

I felt like a kid on Christmas morning opening this, it was all nicely boxed and exactly what I thought it would be. It comes with a dvd and book that explains everything you will need to know from beginning to end.

What you see on the net is what shows up at your door. Everything was sent well packed and nothing was missing. Customer care was very helpful with the shipping. Took me three days to ship across the country and now I have the fermentor full!! You can't go wrong with this company. Thanks guys

I just received this kit and it looks great! After a ton of research this kit seemed to have the most features for the least amount including shipping. The packaging was 1st class and everything arrived as promised. The only thing which this kit does not contain is a sanitizer, it comes with a cleanser. Now it may work just fine to clean the parts but it is not an FDA approved food grade sanitizer. I would rather be safe than sorry when it comes to sanitation.

Have brewed 2 batches with this brew kit and am getting ready to start my third. The kit is great. I have bought some extras to make the brewing process easier but all in all you get everything you need to brew in this kit. Thanks midwest

I received this kit for Father's Day. I second a comment earlier that said they felt like a kid on Christmas opening the package. I was giggling the entire time.

I am very impressed with the quality of the items included in this kit. I bought an ingredient kit and hope to brew my first batch this weekend.
