I've got two of these, one each in 5 and 6 gallon sizes. They're lightweight, come clean easily, and are considerably lighter than the glass ones.
Their one failing is in labeling - you can't easily see the difference between the 5 and 6 gallon sizes, unless you know the trick; the 5-gallon has 3 equatorial ridges, and the 6-gallon has 4.

Scared of glass? This is what you need!

First thing is the lightweight. Just makes cleaning it easier. You can pick it up and shake it around. Dropped it? No Problem!!
Second, is storage. As long as you clean it up well, you can put it inside a fermenting bucket to save room.

I already had three 6-gallon Better Bottles, but decided to get a 5-gallon model in order to accomodate experimentation and to avoid having to buy extra wine or using water to top-up after racking. I haven't used a glass carboy, but a full Better Bottle is plenty heavy, much less adding the weight of glass.

easier to clean then a glass carboy since you dont scrub plastic. B-brite works great at taking off sludge inside. Only thing I did not like was the flex that the bottle had when moving. Played war with the airlock.

These bottles are great. They are lightweight so they are easy to clean and store. Also, easier to move around when full. You do have to keep in mind when moving them that the neck flexes so be careful not to allow oxygen. Also, they scratch easily; do not use a carboy brush.

When full its heavy, but its still manageable.
Just be aware that if you fill it with boiling wort, it will crack. These are not for no chill brewing.

I am currently using the 5 gallon Better Bottle for my secondary. The lighter weight of the carboy makes it much easier on the back! Overall, I am impressed with the product and am considering getting a 6 gallon for my primary.

I have several 5 gallon better bottles and I use them for secondary fermentation of beer and for fermenting apple wine. They are durable, safe (won't break like glass), and light to carry when full. You really can't beat this product for the price.
