California Steam

This recipe allows you to brew a lager at ale temperatures. This American style of beer was made popular during the gold rush. Similar to Anchor Steam. We do not recommend brewing this recipe without using a liquid yeast option (California Lager). Our ingredients for this recipe include: 6 lb. Gold liquid malt extract, 8 oz. Carapils, 8 oz. Caramel 40L specialty grains, 1 oz. Northern Brewer hops, 1 oz. Cascade hops, yeast, priming sugar and a grain bag.
