This kit turned out better than expected I loved this beer and will order it again, hopefully this time I wont drink it as quick. excellently balanced malty and hoppiness, and of course it was 7.3% alcohol.

i brewed this ale up twice so far with outstanding results. i can never leave well enough alone as i always doctor up the kits i buy to make it 'my own'. this second time i brewed it, i added a 1lb of dme and 2lbs of wildflower honey as well as an oz of simcoe for dry-hopping and it turned out to be a fantastic, almost barleywine like ipa. this will definitely be on my yearly brewing schedule.

Impossible to screw up

This kit was one of the first beers I ever made and now all of my friends think I'm a genius. The best thing is with all those hops, you can't really screw it up. They hide any off flavors and act as an anticeptic. Besides that, it was one of the best IPA's I've ever had.

Ultimate DIPA kit

I brew this kit several times a year, its basically become a standard for me to have on hand. Wonderfully balanced yet bold, I use this DIPA to judge all others against. Malt backbone, strong yet reserved bitterness, wonderful hop flavor and an aroma to match. I never play with the recipe when I make this one. I highly recommend going with a yeast starter and a blow-off assembly. This is the best kit MW offers (not that the others aren't as great, this one is just their best) in my opinion!
Look for more reviews and brewing advice on this kit on MW's Forum!

I have made this one twice. It disappears very quickly! Great brew and very forgiving.

Great beer with an inviting amber color. Easy and fun to brew with lots of hops to create a complex flavor. Your best bet is to let this one bottle condition for at least 4 weeks. This recipe received the highest reviews yet from friends.

This is the first kit I ever made. Personally, this is the only way I'll buy a Double IPA with this much kick and aroma. Also a great way to save money on beer with this much hops. Just have patience and wait a month after bottling for extreme hop gnar.

I've made many beers from Midwest recipe kits and this has far and away been my favorite and tasted the least "homebrewed". I've followed the recipe as is and happy with the results but am pleased to see other reviewers trying variations....

Very good kit. Anyone who is a hop-head needs to brew this monster. Will brew this bad boy again.
