I decided to make some hot sauce from the organic peppers out of the garden. Found some recipies on Midfwests website. The bottles are excellent but the caps suck. Made from too soft a plastic. I split the first one on install putting it on the bottle. I wanted to snug them to get a good seal on the drip top. Wish they sold caps seperately. I kept that bottle for myself. Other than the caps, a decent product.

The bottle is convenient, and makes for a great gift when filled with my secret hot sauce!. But you better be careful with the cap or it can split. Do not over tighten.

I have decided to make some hot sauces for gifts. these bottles are just the ticket. The size is perfect without having to use the same hot sauce for the next 2 years. The caps are a little poor quality and you cant tighten them as much as you would think is needed or they just split and break. the drip top fits tight and works perfectly. I have bought these bottles a couple times now. Would love if midwest sold the caps seperately so I can recycle the bottles.

I stumbled across these one day and thought they'd be perfect for stepping up yeast from slants. They are! Very economical and a great size.

These bottles came with my starter kit and are pretty good. I like the size, not so large that I have to make a big batch, they are smaller so I can experiment. The tops are kind of on the thin side though, wish they were a little thicker.

Just the right size

The size is perfect without having to use the same hot sauce for the next 12-24 months. The caps are too soft and can crack.

The bottles are a good size since 5 ounces can last for a while. The caps are soft and seem like they can be broken if you tighten very hard so be careful not to over tighten.
