How do I ferment in a cornelius keg?
It works pretty much the same as any other vessel, but the main issue is how to release the CO2 produced during fermentation.
Midwest has made this an easy task, with our Keg Fermenter Kit (#9305). This kit includes everything you need to ferment in a stainless Cornelius keg. The key to this kit, is the Fermcap-S foam control that keeps the krausen at 1/2” and prevents blow off. Also included is a stainless ball-lock airlock, a sample of PBW and a dip tube cleaning brush as well as instructions.
