One of the best clearing methods. Lasts longer than liquid version but if stored for awhile will harden up making it harder to stir but still usable and clears normal.

Makes the beer clear

Very easy to use, I dissolve it in a measuring cup of beer, and gently pour it back in the bucket, gently mixing just the surface. I give it 2 weeks, and it does a good job. Not perfect, but good. If it hardens in the jar, I mush it up back to powder with a flame sterilized screwdriver.

Isinglass Is the clarifying agent of choice for many professional breweries and I now understand why. It seemed to work better for me than gelatin does and it worked a little more quickly.

No matter how long I would let my beer sit, it never really cleared. Then I tried this and I am impressed. This works very well, and my beer is much clearer. It's easy to use, just follow directions, and don't take short cuts.

I can see what a difference this makes when i look at 2 carboys side by side. I draw a sample with my thief, add in the Isingalss, and carefully pour it in, and gently stir it. After a week the beer is a lot clearer and I keg it.

I've tried gelatin and this is better. It does a great job clearing my beer. I mix it into a cub of the beer and add it a week before transferring it to the secondary.

Just follow the directions - mix with a cup of cold water - and rack into the secondary to ensure it's thoroughly mixed. Cool the beer as much as practical, below 60F at least, and a week later it's clear. It may clear even faster.
