Keg Lube

Its lube. It works, helps and its gooey. I need to find an effect way to spread it without getting it all over my fingers.

I ordered this because I was having a hard time getting my ball lock connections made. A small dab of this on each post and the connectors slipped on like a hot knife through butter. While I can't vouch for their claim to increase o-ring life because I simply haven't been using it long enough, I can vouch that this lube also helps improves seals and reduces minor leaks from the o-rings. For the price why not give it a try?

Initially had issues sealing a purchased used corny. Lubed seals and great seal on first try! Very thick.

This has many uses, well beyond my kegging needs. Its one of the best purchases I have made. A little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time.

I used it to lubricate the temperature probe of my digital thermometer so I could put it in a silicone tube and waterproof it for my mash tun.

I used it in my refrigerator for stuck shelves.

I disassemble and clean my kegs after each use, and when I put them back together I put a dab of keg lube on each rubber part and spread it around. Haven't had a problem with sealing. I can't say if it really helps extend the life of o-rings because I've only been kegging about six months, but I haven't had to replace any o-rings in that time, either. A good "better to be safe than sorry" product.

Any time you clean an o-ring, use some of this to prevent leaks. A little bit is all you need. Helps make seals leak proof. Good stuff.

Pros: Works great. So slick I could ice skate to the moon.

cons: tastes terrible.

No smell, no taste, but so greasy that you will never get it off your hands. It waterproofs whatever it touches, so make sure the o-rings and other parts are clean before you apply it.

Good lube and seal.. Does the Job..

Had a leaky cornelius keg lid, put some keg lube on and it solved the problem. Defintely recommended. Plus you only need a small amount so this will last a long time.
