I've made 5 of this kit. Everyone who's tasted it loves it. I'm currently making it for a friend's wedding. It'll always be a kit I buy ... as long as it continues to exist!

Most wines need aging. This one might even be better aged, but we always drink it up right away because it is so good! We were shocked - only two months from starting, it was great!

We like any dry reds, and once in awhile something big and bold comes across that is this good. While we drank them starting at about 15 months (bulk aged for 8, bottled for 7),I have a few left that are now almost 3 years old, and they are so much more complex and velvety in the finish... you could spend $20 on this bottle and still think its a great value.

I've been making wine for years, this is one of the best. I used french oak and a vanilla bean for bulk aging of 8 months. Bottle aged another 8 months and we finally opened one. Its full bodied, deep color and has a beautiful fruit and earthy nose. The taste is cherry, leather, licorice and lingers in a supple dark fruit. For $3 a bottle, this is one of my best, can't wait to start drinking them but will probably wait another 6 months or so.

I have purchased a second kit of this wine now that the first is ready to drink and this kit is wonderful. Everyone that has tried this wine is amazed and find it hard to believe that this is a home made kit. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
