Mark II Keg and Carboy Washer

Got this to save some time and effort, not to mention having to make up so much darn cleaning/sanitizing solution. Simply put, it does all this and does it well. In retrospect, I could have probably built something from a bucket ,threaded pipe fittings and a submersible pump that works just as well, but, I've got enough of those kinds of projects half finished as it is.

For those of us that find the cleaning to be the least rewarding part of brewing ( and I suspect that's quite a few) this tool can ease that pain a little.

The support that the keg rest on would not stay locked into place. it needs locating pins to keep keg support locked into base. My kegs kept falling. very frustrating!!!

I just got my Mark 11, Haven't used it yet but gave it a try out. Tried it with a keg and 6 gallon carboy. Works great and a real time saver. And you will use allot less cleanser.
I give this Mark 11 a top rating.

I had a little problem with the locks also. But after I learned how to put it together it is just fine with no problem. Be sure the locking tabs are in place.

Washing and sanitizing carboys with the Mark II is fast and easy. This product performs above and beyond what the description says about it. Now that I have one, I'm going to get another. It washes with less chemicals and performs perfectly. Sanitizing the kegs and carboys is so simple and effective, that it frees you up to do other homebrewing tasks. The reservoir is perfect for soaking component parts, airlocks, etc. This product is a great value for the money. Do your self a favor and get 1 or 2 of the Mark II's. You'll be glad you did.

In general, this is a pretty cool device. I'm all about finding ways of saving water and this does the job. It can be a little finicky at times. If you don thave the right amount of water in it,... it's made from plastic and that means the contruction is not robust enough ( and in my opnion this is where things could improve) you may just have to keep an eye on things. The pump may be a little week for the flow needed to clean a 5 gallon keg. In general, it's pretty cool and like I said, you can save water and still come out with clean equipment, just keep an eye on things when you are using it.

Works as advertised. Saves on chemicals. The best part is the fitting to hook a ball-lock fitting so you can clean the dip tube in your corny keg while you are cleaning the keg.

Bought a few weeks ago & over the weekend did 3 carboys {cleaning & sanitized} the unit did a great job; didn’t have too pre scrub. I even did my fermentation vessel & wiped dry but never had to pre scrub. Would recommend to anyone. Very impressed and well worth it to me for the amount of time saved on cleaning.

Unit is well constructed and works quite well in cleaning large objects that always took alot of time and effort.It is saving me substantial time and effort in the cleaning and disinfecting process.Love the fact that I can put a carboy on the unit and it just runs and cleans will I do other things
