This is the first wine that I made since starting 3 years ago and have made it several times. Of the 12 different varieties of homemade wines now in my cellar (which includes whites, reds, couple different fruits, and mead), this one is always selected first by family and friends. Never let my stock get below 10 bottles.

I made this wine last June and after fermenting and racking through two carboys I put it in my oak barrel and let it sit. I sampled it 8 months later out of the barrel and it has turned into a fantastic wine. This is a prize winner and I'm going to order another one of these kits and do it all over again once I bottle this barrel.
Highly recommend Vintner's Reserve and especially this Merlot.

This is my first time to make wine. It turned out great. I let it sit for the longest periods of time at each stage. No mishaps, except spilling some on the carpet. I'm replacing that carpet anyway, so my wife is not mad. Friends loved it and will only give my bottles back if I promise to refill them.

This was the first wine I've brewed. It's aged 6 months so far and it's absolutely delicious!

Wonderfully smooth, and terrific on these cooler evenings around the fire-pit on the deck.

I've done this before in the past and was happy with it. This time i ordered dark roasted french oak cubes (x2) and used them with the oak it came with. I love a oaky dry red in the winter. This was perfect, dry, oaky, must have hit the temp brewing because i hit 17% but it didn't hurt the flavor. I'll be doing this one again and again.

Smooth and soft, with a subtle plum like flavor. I like to brew this every year. Very good wine.

This is my third wine kit. This is a very simple kit to process and the taste-test at bottling by far exceeded my expectations! I can't wait until this sits for a month or so to try it again. Highly recommend this wine for a Merlot lover and at a great price!

This was the first batch I made and I have made a couple more since. It is a very smooth wine and pairs well with everything from beef to pasta dishes. Highly recommended to all.
