Mead was probably the first alcoholic beverage known on this planet. Known as the drink of the gods, Mead is easy to brew and definitely worth the 4 to 12 month wait. Your patience is rewarded with a beverage ranging from 10-15% in alcohol content. Two stage fermentation required. Dry Meads have a dryer, cleaner and sharper finish than sweet meads. This mead can be made still (no carbonation) or sparkling. Our ingredients for this recipe include 12 lbs. of Clover Honey, priming sugar, Yeast nutrient, Acid Blend and yeast. Makes 5 Gallons.
