Good tank for a fair price provided you can have it refilled and not exchanged. At least you don't have to worry about used tanks leaking. This isi a completely reliable tank.

Refills

You can check your local safety and fire equipment listings for refills. For a 10# or 20# tank it is only a few dollars more for a refill. At my local place in Honesdale, PA. a hydrostatic test is $18, which is needed every five years. So you can keep your shiny new tank versus getting an old beat up steel tank in exchange at a higher cost than keeping your own and getting refills.

Its a great tank, and I don't have any worries about slow leaks. Its lighter weight and I can refill it at the store. It will last a lifetime, and if you spread the cost over many years its negligible.

I could have save money and bought a reconditioned tank, but getting it new is worry free. The tank is light weight and works well.

These are great. They look awesome and are compact. I had to trade mine in due to not having a place to actually fill it so a little disappointed but good value and will last you through several kegs.

This is a great aluminum CO2 tank. I was able to locate a store that will refill it so I don't have to worry about trading it in and getting a beat up one. This one works great and have never had any issues.

a great 5 lb tank...definitely buy the aluminum as opposed to the old metal ones because they leave rust in kegerators/keezers. Optimally, if you can afford it, buy the 10 lb tank, especially if you run two or three beers in your kegerator/keezer. Great product and highly recommended.

It's not worth it to me to save a little money and worry about an unreliable tank. If it fails just once, your cost saving sis gone, and your beer is flat. I don't consider the trade off worth it. This tank is lighter than the heavy reconditioned ones.

I'm not looking to save money at the expense of reliability. I prefer the new tank to the reconditioned one. No rust, no leaks.

It is a nice new tank. The price is pretty high but you are getting a brand new tank at that price. Not worth it if you plan on doing an exchange later, but if you are going to have it filled it will last you a lifetime, my guess.
